Day 4 – 08 October 2022
I found these clustered around an ivy-covered stump.
The caps were small and fibrous, turning black or orange-brown with age, and on some of them the cap edges were upturned.
The stems were hollow and turned to an almost transparent brown.
The gills were also brown.

The next week on Day 5 – 10 October 2022 – they had turned darker and some were more reddish.

I continued to see these throughout the rest of my survey, and in my 2023/24 survey.
