Day 4 – 08 October 2022

These were found on an ivy-covered stump in a large clustered group.

The caps were less than 50mm across, and fibrous, turning black or brown with age.

The stems were hollow and turning to an almost transparent brown.

The gills were brown, and the cap edges turned upwards.

Older ones were orange with darker apexes and edges.

The next week on Day 5 (10 October 2022), they had turned darker and some were more reddish.
