This fungus had a lemon-yellow cap, fading to light yellow at the edge, with yellow flesh.

The stem was a darker yellow and fibrous, and the fungus smelt distinctly of hyacinth.

The cap of the specimen in the photo was 40mm across and the stem 10mm across and 50mm tall.

It had darker yellow gills, and grew in a small group in leaf litter.
