On dirt and a mossy log.
These pink-tinted fungi had a distinctive sepia apex, with white flesh and a light grey cap.
The flesh was solid and the stem white, getting wider toward the yellow base.
Others had a grooved edge and cap, with a white or grey coloured apex.
Their caps were yellow-tinted and slimy, and the stems thin, often less than 1mm.
On a rotting log in a large trooping group.
