Day 1 – 12 August 2023
These grew in a very large group on leaf litter, near birches.
With a white caps, these fungi had dipped, buff apexes and blackened, wavy edges.
Others had varying shades of brownish-red caps.
The stems were twisted and reddish-brown.
The gills were brownish-red, and many were inhabited with bugs.




By Day 4 (26 August 2023), most of these had turned cream — perhaps dried out.

On Day 5 (03 Septembr 2023), I noticed they had a faint scent.
