I found these large scattered group all over the leaf litter in this area.

These fungi were very variable — in general, they had orange-yellow caps with vinaceous flesh and coral gills, which were sometimes darker and shrivelled.

The caps were upturned and the edges were wavy to reveal the gills.

Some of the maybe more juvenile had less faded caps.
