This slime mould was spotted on a rotting log, growing around a bramble stem.
It was in one main aethalium, but spread out like sawdust around it.
On Day 2 (19 August 2023) the aethalium had started to disintegrate:

On Day 5 (03 September 2023) the spore mass had collapsed:
