Found on the sides of the path in groups.

They had white, fibrous stems connecting to a white cortina (web-like veil) covering the gills.

The caps were brown and conical and they had pinkish-buff gills.

The more mature fungi had flattened caps, furry, fibrous stems and brown gills.
