LOCATION:

Trail End Area

DATE FOUND:

Day 3 – 24 August 2023

This grew partially submerged in soil and leaf litter, under dry twigs and bramble.

Juvenile — identified as A. rubescens because I saw it again the next week.

By Day 4, the cap was mostly bitten, but the reddish-brown colour remained.

The stem ‘blushed’ reddish-brown – this characterisitic gives A. rubescens the common name “The Blusher”.
